Rivers of Living Water

Scripture: John 7:37 – 39, Isaiah 12:3, Genesis 2:7, Ephesians 3:20

RON:
Hello friends.

It’s good to be back with you again after another month of seeing what God is doing around the world.

Today, I want to share something we’ve been observing — something that is growing within national church revivals.

And honestly, it’s difficult to fully describe.

A Scripture at the Centre

One of my favourite passages is found in John 7:37 – 39.

It sits at the centre of every true outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus stood and said:

If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me… streams of living water will flow from within him.”

This was a reference to the Holy Spirit.

A Powerful Moment

Picture the scene.

The people were gathered for the Feast of Tabernacles. The priests were carrying water from the Pool of Siloam and pouring it out as part of their ritual.

Then suddenly, Jesus stood up and cried out.

He interrupted the ceremony and offered something greater.

Not ritual.

Not symbol.

But life.

Come to me and drink.”

Not a Trickle, but a River

Jesus said that from within a believer would flow rivers of living water.

Not a trickle.

Not something small or contained.

A river.

And that is exactly what we are seeing today.

The Holy Spirit is not sitting quietly within people. He is flowing out of them, filling every part of their lives.

Drawing from the Wells

The Feast of Tabernacles was a time of joy. Its final day was called the Day of Great Salvation.

Isaiah 12:3 says:
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”

In Hebrew, that word for salvation is the same name as Jesus.

Yeshua.

So in a very real sense, people are drawing from the wells of Jesus.

And that is what we are seeing around the world.

The Spark of Life

This is where revival begins.

It starts like a spark.

That spark becomes a flame.

And that flame becomes a fire that cannot be contained.

What we are witnessing today is that fire spreading — spiritual life ignited in the hearts of believers.

Life Breathed from God

Genesis tells us that God formed man from the dust and breathed into him the breath of life.

That breath was more than physical life.

It was spiritual life.

It was the ability to know God, to respond to Him, and to reflect Him.

We were made in His image.

And when the Spirit of God fills us, that image becomes visible again.

Becoming Like Him

There’s an old expression people used to say when a child resembled their parent.

They would say, He is the spitting image of his father.”

Spiritually, this is what happens to us.

As God breathes into us through His Spirit, we begin to reflect Him.

His character becomes visible in our lives.

Something New Is Happening

In past messages, I’ve described what we are seeing as spiritual adrenaline.

And leaders around the world agree.

Something new is being released.

They have been praying for revival.

Now they are seeing it.

And it is beyond anything we imagined.

Ephesians tells us that God is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or think.

That is exactly what is happening.

India: Joy Overflowing

One leader in India said this:

This revival is beyond our wildest dreams. The joy of the Lord is like a river flowing out of heaven. Everywhere I go, I see faces shining with joy.”

And he said something else.

This movement is being led by young people.

Thousands of them.

Called by God.

Filled with His Spirit.

A Global Pattern

As I look back over the past few years, especially since COVID, I see the same pattern everywhere.

This is not emotionalism.

This is deep, lasting transformation.

These young believers are hungry for the Word of God.

They pray constantly.

They walk closely with the Lord.

They are living out what it means to pray without ceasing.

China and Serbia: The Same Story

A leader from China told me that young people are dedicating themselves to ministry.

They want to drink deeply from the Holy Spirit.

In Serbia, among the Romani people, we saw the same thing.

Hundreds of young people gathering for prayer.

On their knees.

Crying out to God.

When I asked where this energy was coming from, the answer was simple:

The young people. They are being transformed and filled with the Holy Spirit.”

A Generation Rising

Across country after country, the story is the same.

God is raising up a new generation.

Young believers who are experiencing the spark of life within them.

They are committed.

They are Spirit-filled.

They are ready.

And they are living out the words of Jesus:

If anyone is thirsty… come and drink.”

A Final Encouragement

Friends, be encouraged.

What we are witnessing is one of the signs of our time.

God is pouring out His Spirit.

The spark of life is spreading.

And it cannot be stopped.
