Locked Up

Beth’s Unshakable Faith

Beth, a young girl in Vietnam, accepted Jesus into her life — a decision that deeply offended her family. They adamantly refused to accept her newfound faith. Instead of allowing her the freedom to follow Jesus, they beat her, mocked her, and did everything in their power to make her renounce Him.

But Beth did not waver. The persecution she endured only strengthened her love for Jesus. No matter the cost, she remained steadfast in her faith. Her earthly father rejected her, but her Heavenly Father protected her.

When their attempts to change her mind failed, Beth’s family resorted to drastic measures. They locked her in her room, isolating her from the outside world.

Yet, she was undeterred. With courage beyond her years, she climbed through the window, made her way onto the roof, and jumped to the ground — escaping unharmed.

No longer able to live at home, Beth continues to worship God, following Him wherever He leads. She serves Him with a passion that only grows stronger.

If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.”
—John 12:26

Beth serves the Lord. She follows Him. And the Father is faithful to honor her.
